Summary
Heat rushes to his ears. Sharing a bed is one thing; playing at something so domestic with a man he might already be hopelessly smitten with is entirely another. Sunday hesitates, fingers curling in on themselves. “Are you sure? I wouldn’t want to eat before the others.”
“Think of it as a taste test.” Welt winks, and Sunday feels suddenly compelled to scream into a void.
Parts of Sunday’s journey, remembered in flavors.

Summary
Terrible if so. Sunday had planned for everything to be more magical, with a planned date, conversations, a quiet moment at the end for a confession, not in some forgotten room in this damn college.
But the longer they held eye contact, the more he began to refuse all of it. Anaxa was here, right in front of him, charming and annoying for different reasons at the same time… Sunday didn’t know what was right, but his heart told him – this was it. To hell with perfection. To hell with logic. This was the moment to seize right now. There would be no other.
“Anaxagoras, can we kiss?”

Summary
“You’re familiar with the exchange of rings at a traditional marriage ceremony, yes?” He set the box down and picked up one of the golden studs with a gloved hand. The piece of jewelry seemed to shine brightly even in the dark, catching the light from the candles along the edge of its sharp backing. “I felt earrings would serve as more… symbolic in your case.”
“Am I truly allowed to wear something so wonderful on my ears?”
Father Wood smiled, a gentle pull of his lips as he reached out towards Sunday’s left wing with his other hand. His fingers lingered against the apex of the curve, brushing past feathers until they found the thin bone.
“Something so wonderful deserves a worthy spot,” he murmured, “don’t you agree?”
Per Father Gopher Wood's suggestion, Sunday was to profess his vows to the Great One, Xipe.
