Lance tiene una deuda que pagar por haber chocado su auto, ¿Y ahora? Ha conseguido trabajar en la cafetería del campus de su universidad.
Ahí mismo conoce a un chico que siempre está algo dormido, supone que usa lentes cuando lo ve intentar leer el menú sin exito alguno, así que decide prepararle su bebida, sin saber que lo haría todos los días a partir de ese momento.

And in some kind of ironic and twisted way, they ended up back in the Garrison.
Lance had put his mind onto graduating, getting his degree and following the path of becoming a serious professor, putting use of his past war trauma and experience to help forming generations preventing past mistakes and failures, maintaining the galactic peace they had lost so much for, fought so much for.
That's how they ended up as being 'just' some generic teachers at the most serious military school in America.Lance and Keith, teachers at the Garrison, are trying their best to teach their students, gaining their degrees and working on building a steady life. But right now, Keith is getting sick and is denying any type of rest and instead keeps on pushing through.
