Summary
“He's a kid,” the first boy says. He takes another step forward, and then he pauses. He looks at Sukuna, and instead of resuming his approach, he slowly lowers himself to the ground. Like he's trying to make himself small as well. “Are you okay?” he asks, again. Perched on his heels, arms on his knees, hands loose and open.
But not vulnerable. Not like Sukuna, who has not a single stitch on him to cushion a blow. Who's made to shake like an infant left in the cold from nothing more than a light wind.
The boy seems to notice, and without hesitation, begins removing his outer garment. He holds it out towards Sukuna. When nothing happens, he says, as if trying to encourage him, “Here. You're cold, right? This’ll help.”
“Itadori,” the second boy cautions, but the first one doesn't pay any heed.
His eyes aren't cruel. Neither are they afraid. Many eyes have looked upon Sukuna, but none like these. He can't decipher them. He hates the uncertainty.

Summary
Yuuji had turned his fingers into cursed objects, and he decided to live on as a curse.
Why exactly?
Simple: He wanted to help more people with the powers he had been gifted.
The people in his life would've wanted him to live on to the fullest, but considering he was immortal and couldn't age, that was going to take a loooooooong time.
So with a final goodbye to his remaining friends, Itadori initiated a ritual and put his soul into ten distinctive fingers, which he instructed to be put in shrines across Japan. His body was buried with respect, and Itadori walked away from the life he knew while his perception went dark for eons.
Then, a boy in 3018 stumbled upon the ruins of the modern world and found a small box that had the finger labeled in a language no longer recognized, and out of curiosity about the contents, the boy ate it.
And all of a sudden, a second voice spoke within the depths of his mind, kind and comforting in contrast to who the boy was in his past life.
"Hey...nice to meet you."
And the boy remembered.

He really should have known better. From the beginning, life had never offered Sukuna much mercy, so why would the future be any different? Still, knowing the future gave him an advantage. One he intended to use.
Unfortunately, fate had other ideas.
When Yuuji swallowed Sukuna’s finger in 2018, all of Sukuna’s plans immediately fell apart. Rather than creating a host with a separate mind and soul, the fifteen-year-old boy merged with Sukuna outright. There was no vessel. No separation. Just one shared existence.
A situation that left Sukuna in a rather precarious position… particularly given his knowledge of what was to come.
On the other hand, the merger brought an unexpected benefit. Somewhere in the process, Sukuna regained his humanity.
