Summary
So, Bruce here is his very informal report on the times his knees go weird.
First things first, the pain isn't actually burning. They just feel hot, and uncomfortable. It's more of an ache. Or a tightness around his kneecaps, that sometimes make the bones in the lower half of his leg hurt. But it's not that big of a problem; you don't need to worry. It doesn't happen all that often. What happens more often is that he will go to turn and he can feel the beginning of it going out of socket. It doesn't really hurts just a little scare. Is it going to, is it not? And some things help, most don't really work, cold helps, sometimes, and of course pushing them into his mattress. It really doesn't help as much, now that he thinks about it. Plus it's not that big of a problem to take painkillers for.
It all started one day in September. Actually he's lying, it started years earlier, with a finicky memory. Was it true? probably with how things turned out later.
As he was saying, a memory. Or it might have been a dream. Who knows?
Dreams are weird like that.

"I'm back up!" Called Tony, his metal covered hand raised, much to Sam and Peter's annoyance.
"No! You're a nuisance, the friends are talking," Sam scolded, waving his uninjured hand between himself and Peter. "Seriously, Pete..."
"Sammy..." Sighed Peter, taking Sam's shoulders ever so gently as if he was glass. Even with the very light touch, he could feel the cracks in his left shoulder bone. "I'll be fine. Really. I hang out with Daredevil and Deadpool all the time." He assured, thinking of what Wade dubbed "Team Red", but his thoughts landed on Matt. Matt's gonna kill him when he finds out he went on a mission without his consent.
"That... makes me feel less comfortable," Sam reminded, tensely. He didn't particularly like "Team Red"; Deadpool was a wildcard, and Daredevil was brutal.
Peter laughed, smiling up at Sam. "Don't do anything stupid until I get back." He warned, back up and walking to the door.
"How can I?" Came Sam's response with a cheeky smile, "taking all the stupid with you."Or;
Peter Parker isn't a Parker, and somehow Sam Wilson is his Avenger Best Friend.

“Dr. Banner!” Peter spun around, taking in the sea of the displays the convention center held, “I know we’re only at the end of the first day of the conference, and I know that I have said this about a gazillion times, but thank you so much for taking me with you. I know you’d wanted to do a ‘science bro’ thing with Mr. Stark this weekend, but I hope I’m an okay enough substitution for you.”
Bruce smiled softly, “Now, Peter, don’t talk like that. I think we’d be better served calling you...” he trailed off as he searched for the words, “... an equally ideal alternative.” He patted Peter’s shoulder as he chuckled. “Honestly, I’d forgotten what it was like to hang out with someone who’s still excited about science. In fact, I’ve had such a good time today that I’m thinking the next time one of these conferences coincides with your school holiday schedule, we should try to make the science bros into a trio.”
Peter’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Get lost! Dr. Banner—you can’t say things like that to me unless you mean it! You would break my heart if you took it back. Are you serious?!”
