Summary
After shooting a night fury out of the sky Hiccup discovers things he thought impossible and questions he can't answer. With strange things happening to him, dragon scales growing from his skin and a growing ability to understand dragons, Hiccup sees no other choice, but to leave Berk.
Hiccup faces the challenge of discovering and understanding himself and the world. While Berk faces the challenge of changing and unusual dragon behavior.
Side note: Astrid might've managed to pick up a couple things from Hiccup.

"Crap!" the food truck worker shrieks in alarm. "Don't hurt him, Superman, he's just a kid!"
Clark . . . pauses, then looks up from the kid that he is currently pinning into the street as said kid struggles underneath him.
"'Hurt him'?" he asks in reflexive confusion, and then realizes how batting a teenager around like a person-shaped cat toy and pinning him to the street hard enough to crack it probably actually looks to an outside observer.
. . . um.
Whoops.
"Um," he starts awkwardly, and then the kid slips his pin while he's distracted and throws his arms around his neck with a gleeful laugh and a bright grin.
"Dad!" he crows triumphantly, and hugs Clark harder than literally anyone has ever hugged him before.

Summary
Batman didn’t sleep; he didn’t rest, nor did he take breaks. He didn’t acknowledge his injuries, his weaknesses, or his limitations. Batman was the night, and the night is relentless, unforgiving, unstoppable.
Bruce, on the other hand… he didn’t sleep, he didn’t rest, nor did he take breaks either, but he desperately needed to. Clark couldn’t do much about that. He couldn’t very well force the man to take a nap (even if sometimes he wished he could just push him down on a flat surface, effectively close his eyes, and order him to sleep). What he could do, however, was ensure Bruce kept an adequate energy level, the kind of energy level that allows a human being to stand upright, walk, talk, and generally survive life with minimal discomfort.
He… fed him. Clark fed him whenever he could.
The situation was not spiraling out of control. He could very well handle things, and “acts of service” was not Superman’s love language. It was not.
Or:
Five times Clark brought food to Bruce and one time he didn’t have to, but he did it anyway.
