Tim’s favorite was the books on the mermaids. The pages were yellowing and falling apart in his hands, the text looking faded and written in ink that was once black. Drawings were artistically shaded, doodles dancing on the edges.
“Drake?” Damian’s young voice filled the silence, sounding small and very concerned, “What are you getting yourself into?”
