Hyunjin tips his chin up, fingers firm and gentle at once, coaxing Felix to meet his eyes.
God. This is so not a good time to be floored by how stupidly beautiful Hyunjin is up close. Felix’s brain short-circuits, every rational thought slipping away.
“Lixie…” Hyunjin’s brows knit, voice steady but soft. “You could tell me the worst thing in the world, and I still wouldn’t hate you. You know that, yeah?”
Felix swallows hard, his voice trembling. “Okay… but you can’t laugh.”
Hyunjin waits patiently, his expression not wavering.
Felix’s fingers twist in his lap. “I… I had this dream. About you. And it wasn’t just a normal dream.” His voice cracks, shame flooding his cheeks. “It was… a wet dream.”
Felix had one (1) wet dream and suddenly his best friend is the hottest person alive.
Which would be fine—
if Hyunjin hadn’t immediately clocked how weird he’s acting about it.

Minho raises an eyebrow. “Really?”
Hyunjin leans back and chuckles. “No, seriously. Felix isn’t my type at all.”
Felix manages a small laugh, but the words still lodge somewhere deep, heavier than they have any right to be.
OR, the one where Felix is straight and Hyunjin is gay, but they’re just best friends. Really.

“I’m just saying, like I literally cannot imagine cheating on someone. Why would someone do that?” Hyunjin says, shrugging with exasperation.
“Some people just don’t care about other peoples’ feelings, Jinnie.” Jisung said, sipping on his americano.
“Right, and I don’t understand that! Like, that’s your partner. It’s your person, someone you’re supposed to take care of, and put above other things. How could someone be so okay hurting them like that? I don’t know what I would do if I found out that my partner cheated. I don’t think I’d be able to handle it. I’d probably cry. Or maybe I’d just crawl into a hole and die. Both seem like reasonable choices.”
“Well, it isn’t a great feeling,” Felix said, adding in his two cents.

Felix reveals that every relationship he's ever had ended with him getting cheated on. His friends decided that they needed to fix this, and that Hwang Hyunjin was the man for the job. But they did not inform Hyunjin of this decision.

Summary
Being roommates and best friends of 5 years, Hyunjin and Felix have always somehow managed to avoid any awkward scenarios.
Until he passes Felix’s room one night, and learns Felix has a toy, and a bright imagination with the use of Hyunjin’s name.
Pretty soon it’s all Hyunjin can think about.
