Summary
In Man of Steel, there is this moment in the fight between General Zod and Jor-El, when the former, hampered by his unwillingness to kill an old friend or due to misjudging a scientist’s fighting prowess (or possibly both), finds himself on his hands and knees while the latter gets hold of a gun, several steps away and behind the general’s back. Realistically, the fight should have ended there, one way or the other.
In the film, Kal-El’s escape pod entering the final stages of the launch provides a distraction at that crucial moment, plus a motivation for Zod to lose all inhibitions concerning deadly force, and ultimately results in Jor-El’s death. What if the timing of the launch was off by a few seconds …? And why does everyone forget about the third person in the room?!?

Leia Organa is stuck in a time loop, repeating the day of her interrogation on board the Death Star. As she keeps defying Darth Vader, he keeps killing her. Yet every time after dying, she wakes up on the same morning again. How did she get stuck like this? How could she possibly convince Vader to spare her life and maybe even let her go? Well, apparently now she has all the time in the galaxy to figure it out.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to her, a certain farm boy is going through a similar experience. All Luke Skywalker wanted to do was get some power converters from Tosche station. Yet he has to chase after droids, rescue his family from Stormtroopers and listen over and over again to an old Jedi shamelessly lying to his face about his birth father. There's only so many iterations of this pointlessly repeating day a young man can take before he'll do something crazy.

What if Sansa had said yes to the Hound on the night of the Blackwater? What if she had fled with him through the flames? No Tyrion, no Littlefinger..... what could have happened instead? Far from the Lannisters and D&D, how could the lives of my beloved Sandor and Sansa have panned out? Until Mr Martin tells us otherwise, this is my answer!
Sansa is age appropriate - 18+. Sandor is book age - 26 ish. Book canon is favoured over TV show canon, and there are some original characters featured. References to violence/rape but nothing explicit,
Most of the characters and locations are the creations of GRR Martin, with the exceptions of my own original characters and the Sept of Stones. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I loved writing it.
