Summary
Ilya noticed a hickey on Shanes neck, on television, on Canadian news. He felt so proud and Shane looked straight out of his dream. Just as a wide grin spread across his face yet again a thought crossed him. Shane would never allow a hickey, and Ilya doesn't remember giving him one that's so obvious. His stomach dropped.

Once upon a time, in the city of angels, Shane Hollander took a brief journey to hell and back.
Dying and coming back as a vampire at the age of twenty-seven was never part of Shane's longterm plan, but just because he's now staring the desolate perpetuity of immortality in the face doesn't mean that anything about his life has to change. He can still play hockey. He can still win another Cup. He can still keep his secrets. The only difference is that he has to drink a little bit of blood sometimes. No big deal.
