“Gorgeous,” he finally uttered, breathing out and bringing his gaze back to Sunoo’s face, praying the boy couldn’t see the blush on his cheeks as he pointedly looked him up and down, before looking back into his sparkling eyes.
Wherein: Their last summer before going off to university, Sunghoon spends a whirlwind weekend trip on the West coast with his best friends, and ends up finding himself utterly entranced by a local carnival worker with a penchant for glitter and cinnamon sugar. Naturally, flirting and existential crisis ensues.

Sunoo looked down at him in shock, crouching down to his knees to meet his eye level.
"Are you okay?" Sunoo whispered, looking worried.
Sunghoon opened his eyes finally, staring at Sunoo.
"I don't get it." He whispered, his eyes looking lost.
"No matter how I think about it, you piss me off."

That's when Sunoo catches it. The distinct smell of aged strawberries, honey, and roses. It's potent, reeking through Sunghoon's answer like a taunt to his brain. The scent is sickening, sweet, and haunting. Nothing compared to it, it's unlike any other scent in the laboratory. It carries such a heavy contrast to the smell of sterile equipment and rubbing alcohol. Sunoo quickly covers his mouth and nose with one hand while the other continues to support Sunghoon.
A love potion. Of course, out of everything in the world, it had to be a love potion.
Or, in which Sunghoon accidentally inhales a love potion in the middle of their research.
