Summary
Clark Kent moved in with Jimmy Olsen. The apartment complex residents and the Daily Planet employees begin to suspect Clark is more than he seems. They're also pretty certain that Jimmy and Clark are a couple. Its unclear which is the worst kept secret: Superman's secret identity or Jimmy and Clark's relationship. It becomes everyone's mission to guard the truth and protect these two sweet men from anyone who might hurt them.

Summary
Their eyes meet. Superman appraises him silently. Tracks the emaciated planes of his face down to the sharp jut of his collarbones from under the neck of his shirt. Lex doesn’t let himself wish for a door to close, for a curtain to drop, for a blanket to pull over his head. He feels like a child. Terrified and sick about it.
“It’s Wednesday,” Superman says, voice low. Gentle, almost, as if Lex is some sort of stray animal, tense and shaking, primed to bite. Demeaning.
Lex is not shaking. He holds his breath for a moment, wills the rhythm of his lungs to slow. He concentrates the fear into disgust, into a single heated beam of hatred. There are protections in place. Contracts, laws. Lex is government property. Superman won’t — he won’t.
Nobody will touch Lex Luthor.

Her brows knit themselves together as she gives Clark a searching look. Seemingly unable to find what she’s looking for, her face falls. “Clark. You did hear the news, didn’t you?”
“No, I slept through my alarm this morning and went straight here. Why?” She stares at him, a pained look on her face. “Lois. What happened this morning?”
Slowly, she gives him a wry smile. “Congrats, Clark,” she says, her face contorting in untold agony, “on becoming a father.”

After a steaming hot shower, Lex decides to seize the day. Not because of Mercy’s idiot carpe diem sticker she’d stuck on his bathroom mirror, either. Mercy has a knowing look when he tells her to cancel his meetings for the day, that he’s decided to go out for a stroll. He buttons his top shirt pocket, securing his chunk of pink kryptonite surely in place. Superman is assisting the elderly group of tourists across the street to the Saturday farmer’s market, according to the 9 A.M. morning report. It’s not a particularly homosexual thing to do.
OR: Always check the eBay reviews on kryptonite—Lex seduces Superman with a dyed hot pink rock.
