Neil gets drugged at Eden's. Again. They get him back quickly, but the parallels fuck with everyone and reveal what happened with Nicky the first time around.
But Andrew remains flawed, so doesn’t know anything is happening until he hears Nicky gasp. Nicky makes a lot of unnecessary noises, so this one isn’t especially concerning—not until Nicky’s hand flashes out to grip Andrew’s arm and he says, “Andrew,” with such strained urgency that Andrew’s head erupts into a riot of alarms.
He follows Nicky’s pointed finger and sees, through the thick forest of bodies, Neil. With some guy. Kissing. He’s out of his stool almost before he can consciously register the scene, leaving the scarred black metal toppling to the ground behind him and shoving into the crowd. Something is very wrong. Neil had been too still. Too loose. An unstringed puppet. Andrew knows what Neil looks like when he wants to kiss someone, and that—that isn’t it.

Wymack’s voice trails off, words stuttering to an abrupt stop. All heads turn, slowly following the path of Wymack’s gaze.
Andrew spots him almost immediately - hair as black as night, curls gentle and full atop his head. He’s got a bruise the size of a baseball around his eye, freckles spattered out around it like an explosion of stardust. His eyes are the colour of the sky, cresting with storm clouds.
His hands are in his pockets as he walks by, fisted around something. He doesn’t look at any of them as he passes, eyes downcast.
Andrew’s never seen him before.
“What the hell happened to your face, Neil?” Wymack shouts, voice startling in the aftermath of silence. Neil doesn’t stop, plundering by the team and their coach without a second-glance.

Okay, wow. That last bit got me a bit emotional. I was very invested like the real world just slipped away. This was incredible. Hitoshi and Izuku being ride or die brothers is a trope I'll never get tired of. Protective ride or die Nedzu as well. Aizawa being completely on Izuku's side, always having unwavering faith in him is everything. Dadzawa for the win. Tomura and Izuku being brothers is also an AU which I adore - if done right, and here it was infact done right. Great fic.

Fucking brilliant. The bond between Aizawa and Izuku is supreme. Nezu and Inko becoming besties was something I didn't know I needed. The second half of the last chapter was such a surprise that I got overly excited. Touya and Izuku immediately adopting each other and Touya being like "yeah you're a time traveller and I like you cuz you're cool" then declaring him part of the family. IT WAS SO WORTH READING IT ALL JUST FOR THAT ONE BIT. I have such a long-standing obsession with Touya/Dabi and Izuku friendships/brotherhood in any AU that it was such a reward for all the angst that I admittedly ate up as always. ANYWAYS great read.
