Tetsutetsu frowned, eyes scrunched and sleep still plaguing his eyes behind his lids. But reality brought him back pretty quick when he got a feel for his limbs again.
Hadn’t the report said there was going to be no rain? Or was it the morning dew that had snuck in somehow, despite him having nailed down his tent?
Either way, his hand was sticky with something wet and he almost didn’t want to open his eyes and find out. Ah, that is of course until something warm meets the weird sticky mess and envelopes his hand in it.
He cracks his eyes open almost audibly and gawks down his arm.
