But peace never lasts forever: The Festival of the Trees is appoaching, the moment of the year were Laurelin and Telperion's lights shine brighter. It should be a moment of celebration, but instead it will be a moment of darkness like no one has ever seen.
WARNING: This fic is much darker than the last, due to the themes of tragedy, captivity and torture. You better have some tissues with you, because this will be a very emotional read. Seriously, I cried while writting this. Have a good read!

All was going smoothly, and would have been perfect if not for one absence, a hole left on the tapestry that could possibly destroy all of its unity. It was perceptible on Prince Fingon’s expectant gaze, which slowly diminished as time passed, in the tired gaze and trembling hands of Prince Turgon, on Princess Aredhel’s tight smile as she talked to her son, on Prince Argon’s confused and impatient expression, on Lady Anairë’s silence and distant self.
The High King that had wounded The Enemy by himself had not returned. For some he was still the High King, for others he was a Prince, for most he was a hero deeply grieved. No matter the title, the fact was that Fingolfin had not been reborn.

"The Last Elven King" takes place in the late Fourth Age, with the main characters being the brave Sylvan Elves under the leadership of Thranduil, as well as the heroes of the human world. The story features intense and exciting plots with a battle between good and evil (with elves, humans, and dwarves all involved), grand wars, genuine friendship, family bonds, and touching love. The story's structure is vast, comparable to "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. This book will also have three parts. I will first release the first part, "The Shadow Reborn," and hope that everyone enjoy it and support me!

Declaring her love and accepting his in return, she encourages him to throw off the condemnation of his past and seek redemption. Their journey takes them from the wilds of Middle Earth to the homes of the Valar and back again, changing the course of Arda's history as Mairon attempts to heal himself and Middle Earth.
