Mike’s face scrunches up as he starts to say, “My skin does not—”
Will really shouldn’t enjoy it as much as he does, the speed at which Mike’s mouth snaps shut the second he wraps his hand around Mike’s throat. He doesn’t even have to squeeze, just the faintest pressure of Will’s fingers makes Mike lose his breath and all his words. No matter how much of a chatterbox Mike is in their every day lives, when he’s like this, Mike’s world always narrows down perfectly to Will. Just Will.

Summary
“I’ll wash your body and Steve will wash your hair, you just relax and calm down.” Nancy said as she intertwined her fingers with Jonathan’s. Jonathan hadn’t realized his fingers were still shaking from the all too familiar adrenaline crash. He pulled his hand away as he spoke.
“It’s not a big deal, nothing we haven’t gone through before.” Jonathan insisted. “I’m okay…really.”
He knew he was just repeating himself at this point, but all this vulnerability made him nervous. He didn’t know why, he just always felt like he needed to keep his guard up. It was exhausting but he’s been living like this for so long now it’s difficult to turn off, even in the safe arms of his two partners.
“We know…just let us take care of you, yeah?” Steve murmured.
Or: Jonathan has a close call with a demodog that leaves him bruised and shaken. Nancy and Steve are there to care for him and help take his mind off of their bleak situation.
