    Or: on a patrol, Izuku is hit by a villain's quirk. One for All should only be gone for a week, but he's starting to worry he won't make it that long.

    After getting into UA's hero course, Izuku had three goals he was determined to achieve.

    1- use his quirk to become the best hero he could be and help everyone, no matter who they were
    2- keep the exact nature of his quirk a secret (and make sure his best friend kept it secret as well)
    3- make sure no one found out about his mum until he'd achieved his first goal, especially his teachers

    After his quirk is revealed at the USJ when the League of Villains attacked, Izuku thought that UA would turn into another Aldera where he would only have Kachan and his ghost friends on his side. To his shock, this didn't end up being the case but now Izuku faces an entirely unforeseen problem. With friends and teachers slowly breaking down his walls, Izuku finds himself fighting to try and keep his teachers from growing more suspicious about his home life and past while dealing with his over protective best friend, the pressure of the looming Sports Festival, and the very real possibility that he might just end up failing that third goal.

    Also, what the hell is One For All and why are the seven ghosts haunting All Might so worried about Izuku finding out about it?

    Izuku stood in the middle of a street he didn’t know. Ten feet in front of him rests an eighteen wheeler truck. By the green light, and the speed limit sign, this truck could easily turn him into a smear on the windshield. But it couldn’t, because it was frozen. Everything was frozen. 
    Everything except Izuku.
    “COME ON!” He screeched at the sky. “DO IT!” Izuku was begging. Tears streamed down his face, a river of sorrow, his arms spread wide beside him. “DO IT!” He cried again. “I FUCKING DARE YOU!” 
    But nothing happened. 
    Nothing happened; the truck never moved, the sky didn’t move, the birds didn’t fall from the sky, and time never moved forward.

    OR: Izuku's time quirk manifests extremely late, and he is frozen in time, alone, for far too long. Can he find his way a home he needs, but doesn't think he deserves?

    Every year of headache-inducing brats brings a new set of challenges, and Shouta is well aware of this. This year is no different - he’s got Tensei’s younger brother who is practically his pseudo-nephew, a foster kid with a mental quirk who outright refuses to speak during class, and somehow he pulled the short straw to receive Endeavor’s youngest son.

    It quickly becomes apparent, however, that even these class highlights will not be the priority focus in avoiding disasters this year. They’re only a week in when the kid he placed in Seat 17 brutally attacks a classmate from 1B, landing the other kid in the hospital and refusing to provide any semblance of explanation to the staff.
