Summary
Ryland was a fox. Well a man who could turn into a fox.
It was a divine comedy that landed him on Erid and while he'd accepted the circumstances that got him here, he still missed the chase— the wind in his fur while stalking prey in the forests that surrounded his city.
He liked letting his fur fly even if his brother called them both monsters.
But maybe Colt was right, the last person who did see his fur had tried to kill him.
He had a new problem however, Simon knew.
And not only did he know, Ryland could tell that he was kinda into it.Ugh, his teeth itched.

Simon didn't think Ryland was a freak any more than he was, being part mutant eel all of the time wasn't any weirder than being a full on fox some of the time.
They had a lot more in common than he originally thought, and he did like the man, really!
Sure they had a rocky start, but he would consider Ryland a friend at this point.
So excuse him for getting a little handsy with the hot teacher after Ryland said he liked his mutations.
Just one problem.
Were Ryland's teeth always so sharp?...

“No problem. I’m not lying, so. No need for that.”
“I’m serious.”
Grace can’t help himself.
“Nice to meet you, Serious. I’m Dr. Ryland Grace. Um- but everyone around here calls me Grace."
Silence.
“That’s your cue to tell me your name,” he notes.
The continued silence is deafening. Wide shoulders heave with heavy breath, that dark gaze tightening at Grace’s further insistence. Greasy, inky hair falls around his face, unruly tendrils shielding scarred skin from the outside.

Halfway back to Erid, the Hail Mary receives her third and final passenger.

A crooked moon with no star, they’d said. No planet. And, from it, this little noise that had reached the Eridian transmitters, quick as a heartbeat. Staggering like a gasp of breath.
A sign of life, crying out into the universe for help.
And Dr. Ryland Grace, in all his cosmic stupidity, followed it.

Summary
After a lab accident leaves Ryland Grace, an Omega, allergic to at least five different brands of suppressants and heat-blockers, he eventually gives in and signs up for something known as a Pairing Program.
See, Grace’s situation wasn’t actually all that uncommon. Plenty of Alphas and Omegas developed allergies or intolerances overtime to their medications. Sometimes people became immune to the effects, sometimes people just didn’t enjoy taking them.
All Grace was really looking for when he signed up for this program was for an Alpha that would treat him nicely and would help him feel less miserable during his heats.
He never expected to fall in love.

Summary
The new human that arrived on Erid seems to be a little out of sorts, mental-wise. He calls Grace an angel, his savior. At first, Grace tries to push past it, but after a while, he starts falling into it.
