Absolutely hilarious! Works both as a crack fic and a spoof. I think my favourite bit is the forum moderators coming down hard on droid hunter critics. :)

AU: In the 1540s, Henry VIII decides to marry his daughter Elizabeth to Charles V's son Philip. Philip is outraged, Elizabeth is terrified, but realpolitik is a harsh mistress. Elizabeth must use all her skills to adapt to such a drastic change in her life, and the pair must find a way to make it work.

Bookmarker's Notes
Marvellously written and psychologically plausible AU for Elizabeth Tudor and Philip of Spain. Also one of the best takes on the „arranged marriage becomes real“ trope using actual historical characters that I‘ve read.

Maybe, in the end, she would look her up, the sharp-eyed Robinson who’d always seemed to (grudgingly) like having her around. You know. When she wasn’t actively manipulating the children or commandeering the robot or trying to get the husband blown up in space.
It was the grudge, after all, that told her it was real....or maybe Maureen would surprise her, and come back.

It isn't quite a love triangle. For one thing, Clark's the only one romantic enough to even think the word 'love'. For another, Clark and Bruce would be beating the holy hell out of each other even without Lois' involvement. And if Lois was aware of the secrets they were keeping, she'd be beating the holy hell out of the both of them. Overall, Bruce's visit to Metropolis has been a mixed bag for everyone involved.

She doesn't understand. She can see ways the world fits together in minute detail, memorize books just by glancing at them, but she can't explain something so simple as happiness or pain. Sherlock may be slow, but he understands this, at least a bit.
Because there's a difference between knowing facts and being able to process concepts like death or love, and in the end Eurus was still a child and she didn't understand.
