The younger girl’s eyes narrow even more, and somehow, that only makes her look better. Megan feels heat rise to her cheeks.
Yoonchae leans in, her mouth brushing Megan’s ear. Her breath ghosts over the shell, steady and calm, while Megan’s comes out in stutters.
