Summary
January 2006.
A botched Sherlock and Watson journey provides Gojo Satoru and Getou Suguru a front-row seat to the underbelly of Jujutsu Society, ostensibly tied to the conundrum Zenin Naoki is facing regarding the events which occured during their coming-of-age celebration. Lies, truths, age-old grudges, and shared history come to light as the tapestry of fate — seemingly woven before any of them were born — starts to unfurl in full.
All the while, an event which happens only once a few hundred years looms over them all. Everything seemingly goes according to the plans fate has in store for them — until someone decides to tear it all apart.

In the aftermath of the Shimabara Rebellion, street rat and vagrant robber Hajime lives under the unmerciful grip of the Tokugawa Shogunate where rigid class divisions and punishments against peasants reign supreme. Hajime is more worried about what and how to not starve when an encounter with the Star Plasma Vessel - Shikamushiku Makadû of Ryukyu - promises to set him up for life. In a bid to sponsor their little trip to reach Tengen in Edo, Hajime steals a golden hairpin from an oiran.
Only for the person he robbed not to be an oiran. Or a woman for that matter.

Gojo Satoru is stuck in a class with; the most stuck-up girl in Jujutsu society, a philosophical country bumpkin with stupid morals, and a laid-back chainsmoker.
Getou Suguru begins his life as a Jujutsu sorcerer with; the most obnoxious person to ever exist, a professional shadow puppeteer, and an aspiring doctor who is a nicotine addict.
Ieiri Shoko starts her highschool year alongside; a loud boy, a boy with earrings, and a pretty boy.
Zenin Naoki enters highschool with the hopes of spending a blue spring alongside: a manchild who didn't get slapped enough as a child, a boy who thinks his earrings are cool, and a girl too chill and permissive for her own good.
It's fine. Everything's gonna turn out fine.

Rin had done a lot of stupid things in her life, many of which she wouldn't consider herself regretting, but there were two though. Two that she regretted so bad, she had a feeling she would take those regrets to her grave.
1. Not destroying her uterus when given the chance.
2. Choosing Yin Nezha as her anchor.Now here she sat a wife to the man who stabbed her, daughter in law to a man who betrayed her, a Hesperian lab rat, with no access to her God.
The Hesperian's get bored with Nezha and her soon, and it's not like they could cut them up quite yet, they do need something new to though. What about a child? A true bridge between the Dragon and Phoenix. Something that should keep the Hesperian's entertained long enough.

Summary
Patterns and echoes of what she knew was supposed to happen - she could see them everywhere. She was what was wrong in the picture, the thing that shifted everything and caused devastating changes, and yet even then the weave of history showed a similar image to what she had expected.
Being reincarnated into the body of an Elf, growing up in Rivendell, it had always sounded like a dream to her. It was both a dream and a nightmare. Love and grief were inseperable for her, even when she was surrounded by people who were supposed to be immortal. The future loomed menacingly ahead, promising war, love, and even more loss.
She didn't want it. She wanted freedom to choose her own fate, and she wanted the freedom to explore Middle-earth.
