Elijah is 16, it’s the summer before senior year. She turns 17 in a month. Her family’s rich, her father’s company based in New York, their main house in California.
She has this dark brown hair that seems almost black if your far away, her eyes a muddy mix of green and brown. Her life is perfect until her and her sister— Alana chose to go to South Carolina, where her grandfathers farm is.
She catches sight of this pretty, no. Down right handsome, blonde boy with a hot temper. Dakota, a boy who struggles with his emotions, let alone understand them, and hes too tired to try.
They meet in an upsetting fight, and end up pretty close by the end of the summer.
