Summary
An angel stood above him. He had to be. There was no other explanation. Blond locks framed his face, glowing in the dying sunlight, forming a halo of gold. Tan hands reached down, cradling his face with a tenderness that felt impossibly real.
His touch was steady, as though anchoring him to the moment.
His eyes met his.
Amber and pale blue. Endless like heaven itself.
Shadow Milk stared back, his own azure and sky blue eyes struggling to focus, locking onto him as the last of his strength slipped away.
If this was death, then it was far kinder than he had ever imagined.

Summary
He could smell something sweet, far off in the distance, carried by the wind. He could smell the salt of the ocean still but it wasn't like how it was in the Let-Vand Zone. It carried other things. Things Sebastian couldn't yet place.
A month ago, Sebastian had been trapped.
It had only been a month since that happened.

Summary
“Your son, Sebastian Solace, is alive,” the agent repeated, her voice steady. Gentle. Confident. Honest.
Lucia didn’t even realize she’d fallen until her back hit the fridge, knocking something inside it loose with a loud clatter. “It can’t be,” she said, disbelief and desperate hope warring in her mind. “He’s alive? He’s really alive?”
“He is,” the agent repeated. “He’s very much alive, and you were the first person he asked us to contact.”
