Summary
Nyx is used to her somewhat peaceful, but busy life: washing dishes, working at a pawn shop, fighting Eggman, you know, the usual.. That is until she meets Surge the Tenrec, who has been shown to be trouble to the public, as well as herself.
The two learn more about each other as time goes on, and they truly realize how similar they are, but they hate it. They hate each other, and yet they can't stand the thought of never seeing the other again. I mean, is it actually Casual? Or do they both genuinely care about each other in ways they thought they ever could?
Well, since I'm sick enough in the head to write a whole fic about these two, so that is for me to obsess over and for you to eventually find out!

Nine has never quite liked interacting with others. His chaos energy makes him a sure target for the Chaos Council, so being a hermit has always just seemed like the better option. When he suddenly gets an odd energy reading, he almost shrugs it off. Yet he checks anyways.
Who would’ve thought he’d get dragged into helping some stupid hedgehog because of it.

What if Nine replaced Tails in the movies?
Oh, long story short, the Chaos Council does exist but it’s slightly different. I’m still working on it. Also, the first chapter is basically establishing Nine’s goals, how he first saw Sonic (similar to movie Tails), and his current living situation.
