Ike is dead, a terrible truth that has shattered Soren's reality. After burying Ike in Daein soil, he wishes nothing more than to crawl into his grave and join him. But perhaps Soren is a bit of a coward, or perhaps he does not want to die as much as he wants to think he does, as he carries on to Gallia to deliver the news of Ike's death.
