The song is fun and hilarious, and even if Mark is grumpy he’s in on the joke. Petey also respectfully gives Mark some physical soothing for The Bigger Mysterious Unnamed Hurt (=his repressed grief) like a cold compress, a scalp massage, cuddles, sexy times, etc.

Beyond him, Mihawk had approached the balcony’s edge and was leant on it, gazing at the sky. The colours flickered on his skin, deepening the shadows of his face. He looked regal, so ramrod straight, his face ever-neutral, bundled up in Crocodile’s fine fur coat.It's the Buggy End of Year Bonanza, and Crocodile and Mihawk have a surprise for Buggy.
