Summary
All major civilizations have their own origin stories, a way to explain the formation of the Earth, Sun, Moon, and man's purpose. Every group of people yearns to know where they have come from and why they exist. They seek an explanation for natural phenomena they struggle to comprehend.
Bringing together two characters who have actively hated each other their entire lives to gratuitous copulation is an incomprehensible phenomenon. It requires a grand origin story to explain away Severus Snape and Sirius Black falling into bed with one another. In my opinion, the best part of this unholy pairing is weaving the tangled web that ensnares and drags these two together. Here is my own humble attempt.

Summary
Sirius Black was frankly indignant from it all. Where had that nerd gotten off to now?!?! Little gave the Black more joy these days than fucking with uptight windbags. Not much had changed in that way since his youth. While he was still the family successor, he wasn't quite the little shit he once was. Twelve years in Azkaban, 2 years behind the veil, and eventually being rejected by death itself can change a man. It gives one perspective on what things in life are worth stressing over. Currently, he was getting his knickers in a bunch over where his favorite victim was hiding.

After being given a second fate, they have come to a strange companionship based on both not giving a f***. Like pickles, both have become more salty and bitter with age. After all these years, what drunk confessions do these dirty old men still have for one another?
