Summary
While fighting a ghost, Feng Xin gets cursed without his knowledge. What follows is a series of strange and vivid dreams where the only constant seems to be Mu Qing, or at least, some version of him. Each version of the god appeared more fanciful than the last, evoking bizarre thoughts and leaving inexplicable feelings when the dreams ended.
Feng Xin has to learn to navigate those feelings his dreams leave him with, as well as his feelings from the constantly improving relationship he has with Mu Qing in the real world.
Oh, and also, hopefully break the curse soon.

Summary
After his biggest boxing match yet, Feng Xin wakes up in hospital after a coma and learns he has a pretty severe traumatic brain injury, and when he’s told he’ll be in a specialist facility for several months while he re-learns how to walk, it feels like everything in his life has fallen apart. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if his roommate wasn’t a fucking asshole.
Mu Qing is prickly, sarcastic, and frankly, downright rude. At first, he has no interest in interacting with Feng Xin, even though they’ll probably spend months sharing a room. But Feng Xin is also curious — as sour as he is, even he can tell Mu Qing is hiding a lot more underneath that cold exterior. He asks questions until finally, Mu Qing tells Feng Xin why he’s here, and that’s when Feng Xin learns why Mu Qing won’t ever leave this place.
Feng Xin really doesn’t know when he starts catching feelings for the terminally ill asshole in the bed across from him. All he knows is that one day, they’re not bickering, but rather cuddling, holding hands, exchanging verbal jabs with no hostility behind them anymore, as Feng Xin tries to make Mu Qing’s last days slightly less miserable while simultaneously fooling himself into believing they have more time.

He felt so bad. He didn’t deserve Till’s forgiveness. But the man clinging to him still held him.
Till sighed again. “Let me show you...”
One cold hand went up to caress the side of Ivan’s face, and the raven-haired swore his heart may have stopped beating. Till looked him in the eyes, so sure and true, his gaze stealing Ivan’s breath and making his brain short-circuit. He wasn’t sure how he was still alive, if his heart and breathing stopped, and his brain was broken, but all he knew was a weird warmth pulsing through his veins and that it was somehow keeping him alive.
“And then you ask,” Till continued. “Hey, Ivan, can I kiss you?”
Ivan couldn’t breathe. “Yes—” He spoke before he could process, and even sooner Till had leaned in and—

And he’s very good at pretending. So he pretends it doesn’t hurt. Like it isn’t pulling him apart at the seams to hear those words and know they’re all lies. And it works. Until it doesn’t.

Nirei Akihiko, has lived in the same town his entire life, he knows everything and everywhere in town. But what he also knows, is that he does not belong here, not in the way that everybody else does.
His first year at Furin, had been something that would help him find his feet, and hopefully give him that sense of belonging that he had always wanted to have. But as his first year goes on, it seems that something or someone is looking to drive a wedge between Nirei and the life that he had made for himself with his friends.
But as Nirei keeps being pushed away, by those he is closest to, he begins to ask the question:
Why Should I Stay?
Is there something here that’s worth him sticking around? Or would everyone's lives be easier without Nirei here?
