Kaoru’s head snapped around immediately at the voice and his eyes widened as he saw Kojiro standing there.
“Ko- What are you doing here? How did you even-”
“Tadashi called me,” he confirmed walking into the room. His eyes swept over his best friend and his face slowly creased in concern.
The chef stopped in front of the desk and peered down at his friend, “He said you weren’t feeling well and wanted me to drag you home already.”

The raven stared at him for a moment and felt the familiar bond that had always floated between them. He noticed a vague sense of disappointment but he ignored it as his mouth lifted into a tight smile and he nodded.
“Yeah. Yeah we’re friends.”

Naruto and Sasuke meet again for the first time in over 10 years. Naruto is looking for a fresh start and Sasuke is raising a child on his own. A lot has changed for the both of them but as they slowly reconnect and move into uncharted territory, remnants of the past threaten to come between them.

Summary
Things are a little bit different now. Things haven’t been fully grey since Naruto and I’m loving every second of it.
He makes me feel so good. Everything is bright and shiny when I’m with him and he makes me want to be better than I am.
When I’m alone though, I think about Naruto suddenly deciding he’s had enough of me and telling me we’re through. I can feel myself starting to panic at even just the thought and the grey starts to sweep in again.
Or...
Sasuke is learning to overcome his issues and maintain his relationship with Naruto. He still struggles at times but is slowly starting to accept that the blonde might actually be someone he can depend on.

“...We do.” Hitoshi finishes coolly, his voice a gentle purr through the now-stagnant air.

Hitoshi blinks at him.

Summary
When Langa takes a trip to visit family in Canada, both he and Reki find themselves despairing at the distance. Though neither is apt to admit their true feelings for the other, they miss each other desperately and so start exchanging texts whenever they can. Texts that turn rather scandalous when Reki accidentally sends a nude that he knew he never should have taken in the first place.
Yet, outside their fluctuating relationship, more sinister activities are afoot. Being in Canada has dragged Langa back to the days of the car accident that took his father's life and nearly robbed him of his own. An accident that may not have been an accident at all, if Reki's suspicions prove correct. It's dangerous territory to be investigating, especially if the killer is looking to finish what they started.
