Basically: Neil has nightmares where he's too late to save Andrew, how he deals with them, finally going to therapy and discussing about the guilt he feels with Betsy and then in a joint session with Andrew.

Then he died, woke up and would likely have to die again. Kept waking up from the same spot, same day.
Only thing changing was the cause of his demise. The when, where and how he died varied fully on Neil and his choices.He was undoubtedly stuck in a freaking time loop of all things and he had no clue how to undo it, how to escape from this hell that was the Baltimore weekend.

Instead of a magical solution, he tried something so mundane as tips to fall asleep the muggle way.
Even though it turns out Sirius didn’t need anything else than Remus beside him, making him feel safe.
This is just a 5+1 thingy of them sleeping together and Sirius figuring his own feelings along the way.

Remus didn't know if anyone else had noticed or paid any particular attention to it, but Remus had–he saw it, how the new muggle studies Professor eyed Sirius ever so often, when no one else was looking, watched him like a hawk.
He could notice the small changes, the small unnecessary touches the teacher would make with a lingering gaze. Yet he thought nothing special of it, just an over friendly teacher, maybe he knew Sirius from somewhere.. still Sirius seemed uncomfortable at times, when the professor got too close.
Nonetheless, Remus had been too late, too late to see the real danger and the harm that was about to be introduced to Sirius. He noticed everything, just acted like he didn't.
That’s the unfortunate thing about time, we cannot take it back, cannot erase it.***

Sirius has had many bad omens in his life, the family he was born into, the parents, his fiery temperament, his way of not thinking things through, doing stupid shit that ends up him losing his friends, not being enough and getting disowned etcetera etcetera..
So what was one more?
This bad omen though, turned out to be their new muggle studies teacher, who looked a bit too long, got too close for comfort, just something was off about him, at least Sirius could see it.
