Nami stares at him, trying to process. Law isn’t exactly known for giving things away—especially something as personal as his earring. “And he just *gave* it to you?”
Luffy nods, the smile never leaving his face, as if it’s the most normal thing in the world. “Yeah. We kissed, too,” he adds breezily.

Sunny? Sanji racked his brain, searching desperately for something to connect with that name. Slowly, through the haze, he caught glimpses of grass, a homey kitchen and tangerine trees. He could picture sails and a grinning flag with a straw hat. Could hear the trill of a violin, bubbling laughter and swords being sharpened and polished. Could smell sweet perfume, meat and ocean. A ship. Sunny.
“Home…” he whispered.

Summary
“Luffy-ya.” Law repeats, pushing down the embarrassment that comes along with the next words. Luffy pauses in his questions, sensing the urgency in Law’s tone. “I need you to pick me up.”
Silence. Law takes a moment, prepared to say it again when he’s cut off by the loudest laugh through the speaker of the snail. Luffy cackles, loud and squeaky as he smacks his knee with his hands. He hears a few other Strawhat’s join in, and his face flushes a bright red.
“Assholes, the lot of you.”
“Don’t worry Torao!” Zoro laughs, cooing as he speaks. “Captain will come get you.”
Law’s eye twitches and he glares at the transponder snail. “Shut the fuck up, Zoro-ya.”
Basically, after his fight with Blackbeard, Law and Bepo stumble upon Shanks and his crew; unintentionally. Avoiding death again, Law convinces him to let him borrow a snail to call someone to pick him up.
To the amusement of Shanks, it just to happens to be the Strawhat Pirates.

Summary
Wano is free, and their alliance is supposed to end but Law is realizing he doesn't want it to. When Luffy starts avoiding him, Law grows impatient, desperate, and miserable.
Some side pairings mentioned (but not about): Frobin, Hiyori x Zoro
Basically, after scouring this site for every Lawlu fic, I decided there was not nearly enough in-universe "falling in love" fics of Lawlu and that I would have to do it myself. I feel like this is such an obvious premise but I have yet to find it outside my brain. Hopefully someone else needs this as much as I do.
