Summary
Minho turns to the stage at the far end as a figure — now lit by a single spotlight, wearing a hooded cloak and carrying an acoustic guitar slung across his back — steps into view.
“Hey guys, this is J.One. Thanks for coming out tonight, I hope you all enjoy the song.”
It’s him.
The first strums from his guitar drift across Minho’s skin, sending goosebumps down his arms as they sink into him.
And then the man sings — hushed and sweet — his voice like the breaking of dawn through heavy morning fog, as it pushes through the cloud of hunger and rolls over him, bathing him in a quiet sense of peace.
Minho refuses to look back at the stage — at least not directly.
He can’t.
Instead, he stares at the flicker of white-gold light reflecting in the condensation of the table, watching it dance with every chord from the man’s guitar.
Who is he?
