Minrathous fell, and life went on. Not as it had been, but the sun came up and breakfast needed to be made. Somebody did the laundry and the washing up. Somebody had floors to sweep. Somebody was born. Somebody died. Somebody got a pet. Somebody got a job. Somebody planted cabbages. Somebody made beer. Somebody got bit by a hurlock and ended up with blight running through his veins.
In which 5 years after Minrathous fell and the battle was won, Tarquin is the one blighted. He makes the choice to join the wardens.

Inside the box, was a man in the full armour of an ancient centurion. For a moment, it was too incongruous to make sense. The Imperium and risen and fallen since this man had died. The box had been sealed before Andraste’s birth, before the assault on the Black City, before the first Blight. It was supposed to be a box of bones. Ashur had felt the magic as it had dissipated and it had been intricate and expertly woven blood magic, but this? The man himself was just as untouched.

They were barely friends. That was how it had always sat. There were these conversations that stretched on and on into the dark. There were nights spent on stakeouts and jobs with nothing to do but sit together and wait. There were liberties Tarquin was allowed that none of the other Shadows would risk.
Tarquin reached out and squeezed his wrist. It wasn't much, but no one else would risk it.
A nice angsty conversation for you! Hopefully I hit some yearning notes.

Summary
There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time to update.
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

Something wet and cold splatters against Allura’s cheek.
A moment later, a second drop lands on her forehead, and she groans, raising a hand to rub at her face. She feels… groggy, as though she just woke from a long, deep sleep. The wetness on her face makes no sense. She cracks her eyes open and finds that she is staring up at a gray sky, full of storm clouds, heavy with rain.
This is not where she last remembers being.
Or: The one where Allura and Shiro end up lost in space.
