Flux’s jaw worked, his scarred hands flexing around the hatchet’s handle like he was imagining wrapping them around something gentler. “Letters,” he finally said. “Words. Whatever the fuck’s in that book.” Though his voice was rough, Saps could feel something underneath — not vulnerability, not quite, but the barest hint of want.

Summary
The vampire was about to run towards Saps, but he couldn’t help but stop after noticing a small house in front of where Saps was crouching. It was a simple house-turned shop, with worn-out banners hanging from the awnings, fluttering gently in the night wind. There were also a few lanterns hanging from the windows, with most of them ripped and only some still in-tact. Finally, above the door was a small, hand-painted sign, with the lettering boarded up.

After hours of chasing Saps, Flux finally caught up to him... in front of an abandoned house.

There was a lone boy sitting on the beach, bare feet planted onto the black sand. In his hands was an old guitar, deft fingers plucking the frayed strings. His voice was light in tone yet heavy in depth, like liquid honey that dripped from the grails that the gods would use in their banquets. Every pluck was a careful move, as if it would break if he put too much force in playing.
Those gentle tunes were carried by the salty winds of the sea to the ears of the divine nearby.

Summary
The name ‘Saparata’ was well-known across the world for his efficient killings, moreover, he also worked for a famous former hunter named Ish as a part of his vampire-hunting company. It wasn’t out of the question if Saps wouldn’t be in the house for the entire day — hell, his record time was two weeks before he could return home. He had left a note on the countertop earlier saying he had a commission to do, and wouldn’t return until ten.
He was now three hours late.

Summary
“Ugh — you’re quite the tough one,” Saps groaned. The gun creaked between the vampire’s teeth as he strained against the vampire’s grip. The creature’s breath smelled like a disastrous cacophony of rust and wet earth, its bloodied fingers digging into his soldiers hard enough to bruise even through the padded coat. Saps could feel the cold press of the muzzle against the vampire’s tongue, and he could also taste gunpowder and sweat in his own mouth. One wrong movie, and he’d either lose the gun or his fingers.

A commission goes wrong, resulting in Saps struggling to fight back a powerful vampire.
Luckily (or unluckily, it's anyone's guess), Flux is always there to be Saps's savior.
