For two years, life in the Glade had been predictable in some ways- every night, the Maze doors closed. Every month, the Box came up. And any time a boy found himself within the Maze after sunset, it meant certain death. These were the certainties of life as they knew it. So imagine their surprise when this month, the box came up right on time with fresh supplies and a fresh Greenie--only, this Greenie was a girl.

Now, Thomas, Minho, Brenda, Sonya, Noah, Melissa, Scott, Lydia, and Liam, march through the Scorch, avoiding creatures that werent there last time and balancing with a fragile tolerance of each other. They made unexpected companions, and together they made their way to the Safe Haven.
That was until they broke into a WCKD lab and came upon information that changed everything. Everyone that they thought were dead were alive. And they were going to stop at nothing to find them. Even if that meant dropping Thomas's old friends when they disagree.
So with the additions of their group, they set out in search for their very much alive friends.

But he’s not sick anymore. There’s time to get acquainted with a lot of things, if only Newt would let himself.
Like fate, magnetism, a compass pointing due north, Newt lifts his gaze and sees Thomas already looking back at him, over the fire.
Post-Flare, post-Cure, post-everything, Newt gets used to being in a body again.
