Summary
Some things in this world never change. The constant fear of death that hangs over every child; the mad rush of panic that hits like a crashing wave in the sea; the desperation that pushes them to keep surviving in a world that wants to see each and every one of them as dead as grains of sand.
Some things do not change in this world. Kids hating and hurting each other in a bid to live — but also kids helping and holding each other, to keep themselves going, to make sure the world doesn’t stamp out all the kindness that still exists.
Some things always stay the same, in this world. Mono and Six have a conversation. Some time later or before or at the same time, Alone and Low have the same one.
