    Summary

Somewhere in the garage, Jason squeaks to a stop again, but this time, there’s no shouted exclamations, and the footsteps don’t start again. Dick furrows his brow. It sounds like he stopped near the Japanese cars, and Dick can’t even remember what’s over there. He picks up his pace from where he had been meandering through the garage and beelines to where he thinks Jason is, the sudden silence unnerving him. God, what if something’s wrong, what if—

Jason is standing, arms frozen at his sides, breath shallow, jaw clenched tight, eyes the size of dinner plates. When Dick sees what he’s staring at, he can’t help the smirk. Jason turns his whole head to look at Dick and says, in a near whisper: “is that a Supra?”

“Yeah,” says Dick, “that’s the Supra.”

    OR

Bruce requests that Dick try to bond with Jason before the adoption and leaves zero instructions on how to do that. Dick improvises.

Ive never googled so many cars in my fucking life, but hoooly shit, tucked between the googling is this heartwrenching banger.

Man, wish i got cars more, as a certified Not A Car Guy, but holy shit, this had me grinning one moment, and feeling a looming sense of dread over the fact that jason never did reach 16, and never did get a licence as planned.

    Beautiful stuff, absolute peak

But most of all, Tim is alone.

(If you die and no-one is there to see it, were you ever alive in the first place?)

    Summary

Tim Drake never became Robin. Instead, he became a ghost with a trust fund, a bad habit, and no one who cared enough to stop him.

When Jason Todd finds him half-dead in an alleyway, the overdose is only half of the problem.

Saving someone's life is easy. Keeping them alive after, not so much.

    Summary

Undercover missions require sacrifice. Jason knew that going in. But Jason only needs a few more hours.
Unfortunately, the rest of the family has never been particularly good at letting him do things alone.

    What It Means
Lacuna is a formal word that refers to a gap or blank space in something—in other words, a missing part. When used with respect to biology, lacuna also refers to a small cavity, pit, or discontinuity in an anatomical structure.
// The absence of hemlock pollen from one stretch of the fossil record is a notable lacuna that suggests the tree may have once suffered from some type of blight that nearly wiped out the species.
