Summary
They say that if you put seven flowers beneath your pillow on midsummer's eve, you will dream of your true love once you fall asleep.
And well, what's the harm in trying, atleast once?
Turns out, none at all.

Summary
At the age of twenty-two, Cloud Strife has accomplished what many others have failed to do:
Climbed the ranks within the Royal Shinra Aerial Corps at a such a rate that he's become one of the youngest ever first lieutenants -second only to the promotion rate of Zack Fair, his very own captain - aboard the anglewing Wren. But as his own promotion to captain hangs over his head, with all the wealth and power it would bring, Cloud hesitates. The weight of his actions, the blood of men and dragons alike, slows him to a stop right before the 'finishline'.
He could, no, he should accept his promotion, and finally buy an estate for his mother. He should. He really, really should. But the promotion has started to feel less like a reward for his good work, and more like the blade of a guillotine, looming high above.
Is this really what he is meant to do with his life?
-
Or, the world where Cloud Strife wakes up one day and realises he's knee-deep in a plot to overthrow the very government he's sworn to serve.

Summary
“That was quite the show,” a voice says behind him, not impressed, not chastising: the evaluation of a fact. Jason jumps and scrambles to turn around.
“Shit, don’t do that to me.” He clutches a hand to his chest. At the mouth of the alley: an angular shadow, a long black cloak. The Batman. “C’mon man, you following me?”
Jason has been running into the Bat for as long as he’s been starting fights.
Jason has been running into the Bat his whole life.

Summary
Somewhere in the garage, Jason squeaks to a stop again, but this time, there’s no shouted exclamations, and the footsteps don’t start again. Dick furrows his brow. It sounds like he stopped near the Japanese cars, and Dick can’t even remember what’s over there. He picks up his pace from where he had been meandering through the garage and beelines to where he thinks Jason is, the sudden silence unnerving him. God, what if something’s wrong, what if—
Jason is standing, arms frozen at his sides, breath shallow, jaw clenched tight, eyes the size of dinner plates. When Dick sees what he’s staring at, he can’t help the smirk. Jason turns his whole head to look at Dick and says, in a near whisper: “is that a Supra?”
“Yeah,” says Dick, “that’s the Supra.”
OR
Bruce requests that Dick try to bond with Jason before the adoption and leaves zero instructions on how to do that. Dick improvises.

Bookmarker's Notes
Ive never googled so many cars in my fucking life, but hoooly shit, tucked between the googling is this heartwrenching banger.
Man, wish i got cars more, as a certified Not A Car Guy, but holy shit, this had me grinning one moment, and feeling a looming sense of dread over the fact that jason never did reach 16, and never did get a licence as planned.
Beautiful stuff, absolute peak

Summary
Tim Drake never became Robin. Instead, he became a ghost with a trust fund, a bad habit, and no one who cared enough to stop him. When Jason Todd finds him half-dead in an alleyway, the overdose is only half of the problem.
Saving someone's life is easy. Keeping them alive after? Not so much.
