Summary
It was a bad idea.
Tim knew it was a bad idea before he had even finished thinking about it, but he was running out of options. Robin was dead, and Batman was slowly destroying himself along with Gotham’s underground. It wasn’t justice. It wasn’t even vengeance. It was just plain old self-destruction.
And it was starting to draw attention of the non-human kind.
Who better to draw it away than Tim himself?

Summary
Sometimes, Tim isn’t sure he’s real.
Tim isn’t sure when he started altering his appearance. Maybe he always knew how to do it. Maybe he learned how watching his mother in front of the vanity in her room, blue silk dressing gown wrapped tightly around brittle bones as she peered critically at her reflection, widening her irises ever so slightly, narrowing the bridge of her nose.
A good transformation, she’d told him once, is not over exaggerated, or particularly striking. It must appear completely natural at all times, or the trick is ruined. The game is up.
Tim’s nose is a little crooked. He doesn’t remember how long it’s been that way.

They aren’t even crying, his mother is clearly more concerned with how his disappearance will look than the fact that he’s—he’s gone, they left him in a sinking car—his chest is rising and falling quickly, and he wonders distantly if the drowning was just a little slow to catch up.

Summary
Bruce Wayne knows that trust is a rare currency in Gotham. Cynicism is the natural state of things for the world’s greatest detective. But after rescuing Gotham’s kidnapped deputy mayor from the Joker, Bruce has to come to terms with the fact that there are other people in the city just as stubbornly committed to saving it as he is— and that they can be trusted to make the right calls. Mallory Stone, attorney-at-law and eternally annoyed with Bruce Wayne's playboy antics, is one of those people.
Working with her as Batman to untangle the bloody web of the Court of Owls should be easy— it was supposed to be just one investigation, one lead, one clean ending to a story that never should have begun. But genres are slowly getting mixed, feelings are growing messy, and Mal is getting a headache. Who the hell signed them up for a political thriller? A detective story? A comedy of errors? A fantasy? A romance? Not Mal, and certainly not Bruce— but they’ll have to live through it anyway.

"A week of a now wasted experiment," the child grumbles, flipping a small container over in his hand, "father will be most displeased."
"What?" Tim furrows his brow.
"I was studying bee culture," the stranger gives a spectacular sigh.
Tim sputters.
"You threw a bee at him?"
...
He is halfway home, later, when he realizes.
Batman and Robin have been facing off against some sort of meta criminal who can control bees.
The kid who keeps bees in his backpack is Damian Wayne.
Robin.
And he's kind of an asshole.OR
When Damian joins the Wayne family early, there are consequences. While Jason lives, Tim's parents both are murdered overseas and he is left alone - for now.
