"So, what do you say? Just you and me on this one. Like old times?"
There was a glimmer of hope in those inhumanly blue eyes of Kent's as he waited for Batman to answer. It was ridiculous to refer to something that was less than a year ago as 'old times,' but Superman had been frustratingly overly-familiar the last few times they had spoken, and it seemed that wasn't something distance had changed.
Bruce decided to humor him.
Bruce is trying to find the balance between his responsibility for Dick and his partnership with Robin. Clark is trying to navigate catching feelings at the office again, so to speak. Dick just wants to be taken seriously, and maybe for Batman and Superman to stop being so stupid about each other.
Somehow, the crime ring trafficking alien creatures in their two cities might just be the answer they've all been looking for.

Summary
Clark had yet to make any attempt at movement, practically pinned against Bruce not unlike a steel beam himself. He was half-kneeling, half-blanketing Bruce's entire body with his own like a literal human shield. Bruce's heart sank when he realized how eerily quiet and still Clark had been as he'd run through his standard procedures.
Was Clark okay?
Batman and Superman get a building dropped on them, and neither of them are doing too great for two very different reasons.

Summary
The kiss was heated, like the very flames of the sun licking at his mouth. It was absolutely nothing like how Bruce imagined kissing Clark would be, all hard edges and power, and none of the gentleness he knew so well. Still, his body instinctively lit up as the press of Clark's body against his felt so right, even as his mind screamed all of the ways this was wrong, absolutely wrong.
In which Clark is acting strangely, and Bruce deducts that he must be under the influence of red kryptonite. Fortunately, he has a plan. Unfortunately, the plan means walking the fine line of playing along to save his friend or surrendering to his own desires.

Clint had a tendency to fall in and out of love the same way he fell off buildings: unexpectedly and usually with an explosion or two. Especially when it involved teammates. The last thing he wanted to do was mess up the friendship he had with Bucky. All he had to do to keep from fucking things up was, well, not fuck his teammate. Easy peasy.
Unfortunately, James Buchanan Barnes, war hero and world’s deadliest assassin, was also probably the world’s sweetest cat dad. And that was doing things to Clint’s heart that shouldn’t be allowed.

Kintsukuroi (金繕い, "golden repair"), is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.
Anakin falls. Together, he and Obi-Wan will have to mend their broken lives.

Summary

It startles a real laugh out of Yusuf. "Who knows? Sometimes, Nicolò, I think I must have dreamed you entirely."
After escaping the fall of Jerusalem together, Yusuf walks away from Nicolò in order to return home and move on with his life. It works for a while. Fifteen years later, Nicolò shows up in his dreams of the two immortal women.
(In which Yusuf needs time to come to terms with destiny, and Nicolò to make peace with himself, before they can meet on equal ground.)
