“That’s not, I don’t want it to be like this. How can I be sure that you actually want this?” Bam asks with a grimace, looking almost upset at himself the way Khun’s curling into him, rutting absentmindedly into his thigh.
And in that one question lies the problem with these stupid hormones, these secondary genders, and the concept of true enthusiastic consent. And Khun doesn’t really know how to answer that. He wishes he had more eloquent words to offer than just “the world functions strangely and out of our control and it sucks”, but it wouldn’t help him much right now.
What he needs is to convince Bam to fuck him through this mess of an unexpected heat, because at this point, he quite honestly doesn’t know what else to do.

Your wounds would have healed with the passing of the initial fever, so whatever lingering effects you are suffering are likely psychosomatic – and severe enough to bar you from the one occupation where being a ruthless hunter is seen as a qualification rather than a detriment.” Those eyes flick back up from their cataloguing of John’s limbs and body to meet his eyes. “When I say you’ll let me see it, I am then, of course, referring to your wolf form.”
“And why would I do that?”
