Summary
At that moment, numerous Izuku’s were running for a cause. And as they were, a rift opened.
Born from the sheer, terrifying weight of a single soul’s dedication. One that lived across a thousand different timelines, living as someone different every single time–yet the boy never stopped moving forward. An instinct so fundamental to one’s being, to run towards a purpose. Whether to aim for it or to exceed that purpose, giving birth to a new one.
Such will that it broke past the limits of the quirk that accidentally took effect on him without his knowledge in the original universe–that six other him’s universes fractured. Not being able to contain the bone-deep emotions seeping into hundreds of pages.
Rifts tearing wide to consume these individuals to meet the one they were created from. Leading the momentum of the multiverse to all at once crash on-top of Izuku.
OR
Izuku who seems to always be running towards something no matter what universe, gets hit by a quirk that allows him to meet himself or multiple of himself.
Others who were doing just as he did, at that very moment.

Summary
Midoriya looks a little bit nervous as Shouta reads his notebook, and Shouta wonders why. “I mean, it’s not as impressive as it looks, I guess. It’s just a pastime.”
“I don’t give empty compliments, kid.” He closes the book, handing it back to the boy, who takes it gratefully. “Ever considered applying to U.A.?”
Midoriya doesn’t meet his eyes. “No.”
Shouta raises an eyebrow. “Heroics not your thing?” He’s surprised, considering the things that he’s just read. The boy in front of him, with his seemingly guileless bright green eyes and nervous disposition, has a brilliant mind that any teacher would kill to get their hands on. Especially Nedzu. But he can hardly blame those who don’t want to get into heroics, either - if Midoriya has researched underground heroics as much as Shouta suspects, he would have seen enough to be disillusioned.
But none of those reasons are why Midoriya shakes his head.
He’s still smiling, Shouta notices.
“You could say that.”
OR: Shouta meets a boy in a hospital and watches him help who he can, all while he wastes away.

Shota sneers at the teenager across from him. His defense raises like the hairs on the back of his neck as he glares steadily, ready and waiting for whatever will come from this encounter. He narrows his gaze when the teen shifts; just the thought of sharing this rooftop with Japan's most notorious villain makes his skin prickle. “Deku.”
“Y-yes!” the teenager cries out in relief, taking a small step towards Shota, “I’m Deku! I’m so g-glad you—”
“Deku,” Shota growls darkly, flicking out his capture weapon hastily to snag the villain before he can make his move. He's quick to tug it taut, leaving no room for Deku to escape. “You’re under arrest.”
“I-I’m what?! W-wait!”
tl;dr
Hero Course student Izuku comes to the realization that he is definitely not where he's supposed to be.

Unfortunately, all he's ever wanted was to become a Hero. Healing Quirk be damned.
