Summary
Kuai Liang has lost his clan, his dearest friend, and now, his entire world. He tries to make a place for himself in this new timeline forged by Liu Kang, but his grief has cast a veil on himself that he cannot shake no matter what. I have no home to go back to. I have no memorial, no shrine with which to honor my fallen. No place to pick up my shattered life and lay it to rest.”
“I have lost all I have cared about—my brother, my clan, my student, my friend, and…and you—,” he took in a ragged breath. “You were one of the most important people in my life…” He shook Tomas by the collar. “And now you won’t even look at me.”
