He sighed, not liking where this conversation was going. “I don’t know what you want from me.”
“I want you to stop running away.”
“Excuse me?”
“You’re scared,” she said, matter of factly. “You blame yourself for what happened so you avoid everything related to Hope’s Peak. But you don’t want to.”
“Kirigiri,” he started, smiling. "I can assure you I know very well what I want. I have a good job, an apartment. I’ve moved on.”
“But have you really?”
Nagito winced and immediately cursed himself for doing so.
“I can see it, Komaeda, so tell me the truth. The rest of your classmates left and began their lives. They moved on together. But you never left, did you? You’re still trapped in that school but you refuse to acknowledge it.”
“Wow,” he laughed nervously, losing what little composure he had. “Didn’t know I was at lunch with the ultimate psychologist. You never told me you had a hidden talent, Kirigiri.”
She shot him an unimpressed look. “I don’t know what I can say to change your mind about everything that happened, but I can give you a chance to quit hiding from the past.” She stood, reaching her gloved hand out towards him. “Come work for me.”

Summary
Makoto Naegi has one chance to fix everything, one chance to undo all the destruction and death that Junko Enoshima unleashed upon the world. His goals are to save Hajime Hinata and to stop The Worst, Most Despair-inducing Incident in the History of Mankind by sabotaging Junko's plans.
