Damon took a deep breath upon seeing the envelope on his table. He had silently carried it over from his mailbox, and it didn’t take the IQ of Holmes to figure out what it was about and who it was from.
The envelope itself was a soft shade of pink – sealed tightly with a wax seal with a heart in the middle, and Damon might be imagining this, but it had a gentle smell of passion fruit wafting from it.
Typical of the guy to have scented envelopes just.. lying around in his house.
He leaned forward, taking the risk of peeling the heart seal off. Inside, it was exactly what he expected to find– an overly extravagant pop-out card with butterflies dancing on the gold border.
He flipped it open, and it came to life – Kai Monteago and Diana Venicia, came two familiar names, and the words “to be wedded on May 8th.” were written with a well-calligraphed flourish.

‘je.dd:)#0102’, was written on the paper in sleek black handwriting.
“..What the heck is this?”, Mark found himself questioning out loud. It looked like a weird kind of code.
The name by itself found to have no real meaning, but the hashtag and the number following it seemed to give Mark some ideas of what this could be.
First of all, it could be a code, as he surmised. Or, it could be a discord ID.
He very obviously couldn’t check if it was a code, so he decided to try and follow up on the latter.

Someone throws a note with a Discord ID at Mark's face and he isn't too happy about it, though he is curious about it. Turns out it belongs to a guy who's from Japan too who has no idea how he got his ID, and Mark finds himself constantly thinking about something more than music for the next few days.

“So…you can say that I unlocked a hidden ending, right chat?”
Instead of a sigh or eyeroll, Azul just smiles at him. A mischievous, teasing smile that was becoming Idia’s favorite look on the boy. He grabs Idia’s shirt and pulls him back in again, but not before leaving a murmur between their lips.
“I’d rather you call it the real ending.”

“I want to punch you,” Ragnvindr grits out, and there is something strange to his voice as he saying this, as though the admission pains him, “but Vassilev will kill me if I do.”
Ajax wets his bottom lip, and the corners of his mouth twitch when Ragnvindr’s gaze tracks the movement.
“You know,” he starts, now hungering for all things brilliant, and short-lived, and ruinous, “there are always other ways to get a man on his knees.”
Hearing this, Ragnvindr’s face makes a beautifully complicated expression. His thick brows draw together, and his mouth parts. He draws closer, sucked into this black hole, mistaking its gravity as the orbital of something grander, perhaps.
Ajax breathes in the lingering trace of Ragnvindr’s aftershave, the light scent of sandalwood, and lets out a breath of a laugh, despite himself.
“What?” He taunts, desperate to know if Ragnvindr would give in, if Ajax had it within himself to lasso a blazing sun. “Scared?”
It would be a tired sentiment if Ajax said that volleyball was the love of his life. After all, he wasn't quite in the business of sharing first loves.
