Jin has had a handful of years to come up with something better than the mediocre job he picked up at a coffee shop near the university campus to pay his tuition. Unfortunately, he has been hit with the nauseating realization that this might just be as good as it gets.

Summary
The man tilts his head. “You’re not my Jungkook.”
Jungkook snorts. “No shit. I’ve never seen you before in my life.” Jungkook tilts his head to mimic the guy. “How did you know my name?”
The man hums, still studying Jungkook carefully. “You’re younger than I remember. Still got those cheeks, I see. Cute.” The man grins then. “Oh well. Guess this is our first time meeting. Introductions are in order.” He holds out a hand. “I’m Kim Seokjin. I’m from the future.”
Jungkook stares. He stares at the man with his stupid long coat and styled hair, at the outstretched hand, at the self-assured grin. He blinks. “This is it,” Jungkook says. “I’ve officially lost it.”
The man’s grin, impossibly, widens.

It's hard to remember what he no longer is to Yoongi, and what Yoongi no longer is to him. Hard to untrain the jagiyas and the yeobos and the babys from rolling off his tongue. And, eventually, when it gets to the sixth time that Seokjin has to physically stop himself from crooning a sweet, muscle-memoried jagiya to Yoongi, he realises he has a big, fat problem.

Weeks have passed after Seokjin and Yoongi's break-up, but Seokjin keeps almost calling him pet names. It's a problem that needs to be fixed and, so, Seokjin starts distancing himself from Yoongi. What better way to do this than by making Yoongi call him "Seokjin-ssi" and "Seokjin-sunbaenim" instead of hyung?

Summary
Jin is still mulling over his frustration when Jungkook enters the hall. He’s wearing the school's standard uniform, dark hair swept back to reveal his forehead, backpack nonchalantly slung over one shoulder. He always looks a strange mix between overconfident and totally lost somewhere in the clouds. If Jin didn’t know Jungkook was such a brat, he would say that it was a bit endearing. Actually, if Jin didn’t wish to punch Jungkook right in his pretty face all the time, he would maybe admit that the guy is fucking hot.
Or, Jin and Jungkook have to deal with the tension between them to work shit out, and it's not going well.
