It works for roughly ten minutes before Shōta shifts his weight. The way he tips just a bit to his right, added to the way the man beside him also shifts to sit back just a bit in his chair instead of hunching forward, means that Shōta can actually hear what his neighbor is saying.
“Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to be beaten with coin-filled socks.”
This bit of muttering, far clearer than before, instantly has Shōta’s attention locking in, freezing him in place for a split second before he slowly turns his head to look at his neighbor.

Yuji hesitated a moment before he reached out, and slid his fingers under Satoru’s blindfold. He allowed him, and it fell away from his face onto the bed.
Satoru blinked. He could see every dark pink lash lining Yuji’s honey colored eyes and each freckle on his tanned skin. He could also see the soft, warm glow of his cursed energy circulating through him evenly.
“Sensei,” Yuji said, his voice barely above a whisper. “You said you won’t treat me like a child, right?”
Satoru’s mouth felt a little dry. “If that’s what you want, Yuji.”
Yuji's mission goes terribly wrong while Satoru is away. It's his job to come back and pick up the pieces.

Yuuki winces.
Satoru raises a brow. “Your lessons aren’t all going that badly, are they?” None of her other teachers have mentioned anything to him. Yuuta has only ever approached him to see if he’s doing this teaching thing right, a fact Satoru never fails to coo over. Noritoshi’s presumably doing the same with Utahime.
“Not all of them,” Yuuki assures him, seeming to mean it. “Blood Manipulation’s just a matter of getting my cursed energy to work like that. Kusakabe-san’s lessons aren’t going as quickly as he wants, probably, but they’re going. Reverse cursed technique…”
She trails off with another wince.
“Promising,” Satoru drawls, before he shrugs. “Well, there goes Yuuta’s potential career as a teacher.”

“We have a problem.” Satoru announces, slamming into Suguru’s studio two days later. He feels guilty. Like so so guilty.
“That so?” Suguru asks from his bed, lounging in a pair of sweats, his shirt hiked up. He scratches at his happy trail and glances over at Satoru. His demeanor changes instantly at whatever he sees on Satoru’s face. He swings his feet off his low bed, sitting up and leaning forward. “Satoru, what’s wrong?”
Satoru situates himself on the bed next to Suguru, crossing his legs and sitting so they’re facing each other. He meets Suguru’s eyes and cannot speak. Totally blank brain. Suguru touches his knee gently, probably about to say something helpful and kind like take your time or whatever you need.
For some reason, Satoru panics.
“I can’t come.” He announces, much louder than he needs to. “Unless I’m thinking about you.”

It was not uncommon for cursed spirits to manifest within or near school grounds. It was expected, and often monitored, which made the appearance of this ‘Yuji-sama’ all the more intriguing, if only for the fact that it appears to be a rather recent phenomenon. Any older, and such a name would have fallen into urban legend or spread further amongst the alumni and out to the public. Jujutsu Tech should have also picked up on this by now, and perhaps they already have.
Suguru would have to make sure of their involvement before he dared to humor the idea of treading on Sugisawa’s school grounds to witness this cursed spirit for himself.
“A cursed spirit answering to the whims of a bunch of monkeys. Tamed with cheap convenience store snacks and a couple homemade cookies for good measure.”
Suguru shook his head in disbelief.
♦ Suguru stumbles across a rumor of a benevolent cursed spirit accepting offerings in exchange for favors and minor miracles. What he expects to find is nothing more than another curse to add to his growing collection. What the man finds, however, dares to shake his fundamental understanding of the world he resides in.

Yuuji blinks like he’s coming out of a daze, and Satoru would be flattered, has been flattered by it before, if this wasn’t the third time in the last hour it’s happened. He’s never denied his vanity, but the same compliment from the same person gets repetitive after a point.
“Stare at what?” Yuuji asks after he’s come back to himself, the perfect picture of complete confusion.
“Playing dumb, are we?”
“No?”
“It doesn’t suit you,” Satoru goes on like Yuuji didn’t say a word, “and it won’t work. You haven’t been subtle.”
“About what,” Yuuji asks, bewildered now, frowning that way he does when he thinks Satoru isn’t making any sense at all.
“My dick, Yuuji,” Satoru answers, as infinitely patient as any good teacher should be. “You keep staring at it.”
Yuuji gapes at him.

When Shen Yuan died cursing the plot, the inexperienced system assigned to his case failed to connect him to his intended role of the scum villain. Instead, he was shunted into -- what was this tight cramped darkness?? What do you mean mission: ‘Hatch Safely’!?
After breaking the shell, who wouldn’t recognize an iconic hatching scene from the book, where disciples would impress hatchlings. The kind Binghe, in the middle of his whump arc, was never allowed to partake in.
Well too bad, it was Binghe or bust! Where was the Qing Jing woodshed? Shen Yuan would drag his pathetic little newborn body as far as he needed to!
