"I love you," Tamaki interrupts him, heart lodged in his throat. He looks up, spitting the next words out quickly. Kyoya is frozen, mouth open around aborted words. "As a friend. My dearest friend. My closest friend."
And that's all doesn't need to be said, but Tamaki says it anyway.
"I know that," Kyoya says, very very pale. "I know that more than anyone."
AKA the fic where Tamaki breaks his and Kyoya's heart bc of a cool mix of comphet and internalized homophia (and catholic guilt may or may not be in there, we don't talk about it)

He feels about Dick the same way he feels about concrete, like he’s bled out over it a hundred times and gets annoyed when he falls onto it without padding, and also like it’s kind of the only solid thing he’s ever known. A thing so stable it always seems to be cracking at the edges from a combination of age and pressure, when Wayne Enterprises doesn’t divert enough funding into Gotham’s public infrastructure.
Experiments with boundaries and brotherhood, both with questionable success.

"Did you see?" says Dick, and he lets go of Tim's shoulders to take him by the arm, tugging him toward the kitchen instead of the Batcave. "Alfred made cookies."
"Think he's trying to lure you in," says Tim, with a huff of a laugh. "Like one of those traps they bait for raccoons."
"Raccoons are too smart for that, baby bird," says Dick, blithely, and swipes up one of the bait-cookies anyway, biting into it with an appreciative little hum.
Tim finds somewhere else to look — fixes his gaze on a spot on the far wall, trying hard to ignore the way the kitchen smells of cinnamon and nutmeg and sugar. His stomach twists a little, hopeful, and he tells it firmly that these aren't for him. They're Dick's welcome-home cookies.

Summary
After failing to grasp the Star from the 46th scenario, Yoo Joonghyuk finds a different way to tie Kim Dokja to his side: a sub-scenario with a failure penalty of temporarily binding the participating incarnations' hands together. The penalty will only last a few days, but even this much is satisfying, especially after the years that Kim Dokja was gone.
Kim Dokja is just sick of everyone trying to babysit him, even if it's a bastard with a pretty face like Yoo Joonghyuk.
