Summary
Martin's hands move to cover his mouth, and in a muffled, deeper, almost comically haunted-sounding voice, he says, "I'm a horrible person. What have I done."
Snickering, Hell Valley Marty replies. "My guy, if you're a horrible person, I'm goin' straight to hell." His hands are back in the pockets of his leather jacket, and he looks to be, at least physically, entirely over the miserable attempt at a punch.
The dread-inducing pit in his stomach growing ever-deeper, Marty finally speaks up. "No," he says, and both Martin and Hell Valley Marty jump, as if they had forgotten Marty's still there. His voice is quieter and shakier than he means it to be as he goes on. "You- you were right, uh, Martin. This is all my fault." Just like he's been thinking all along. He sighs, and mutters, "Maybe that priest was right when he said I'm goin' to hell."
"Uh." Hell Valley Marty raises an eyebrow, glancing between Marty and Martin (who has dropped his hands, now looking at Marty, but he still looks distraught and disturbed). "I… really don't think that punch was, uh, that big of a deal."(or: martymania! wherein marty tries to figure out how to fix the timeline while being bothered by 2 annoying, annoyed other martys!)

Damn. Emmett sighs. "Okay. So you've apparently hit your head at least three times- that cannot be good- and I suspect you're also dehydrated-"
"Well, I wasn't gonna drink the gross water they have here!"
"-and you just almost got hanged and you're presumably generally exhausted-"
"I'm not exhausted, Doc, c'mon! Sure, maybe a little tired, but it's really fine, and we need to get to work-"
"-so you need to rest," Emmett finally manages to say fully and firmly. "A quick nap won't doom the space-time continuum."
Based on the expression on his face, Marty does not agree.
(or: those multiple hits to the head combined with a lack of sleep, too much adrenaline, and an unhealthy amount of dehydration finally catch up to marty- just barely before hes home free.)

Marty stared at her for a moment or two, mouth agape in shock, before laughing nervously. "Uh, did I, uh, did I say all that out loud?" he stammered out.
"You asked what day it is," Linda replied, suspicion filling her voice. "It's Friday."
"…" Marty squirmed under her continued gaze. "Friday…………?"
Linda raised her eyebrow even more. "Friday, May 16th…… 1986."
"Oh, thank God." He breathed out a sigh of relief, bringing a hand to his chest. He looked down at it, held it up, and nervously glanced at Linda. "Hey, uh, I look… not see-through, right?" He realized this was a weird question, but at this point, she should be used to it.
"…opaque?" Linda clarified, looking even more confused.
"Yes- yes! Opaque." Marty nodded frantically. "I look opaque, right? Right?"
She furrowed her eyebrows. "Jeez, um. Yes. You look… very opaque. Are you alright?'(Or: marty lets slip that things Happened.... but post-game (and sort of post-comic) this time! cue the existential dread and paranoia!

“Sorry,” Marty mumbled, and took a sip from his own drink.
“Jesus Christ,” Dave muttered. “This is a mess. I just wanted to relax today.”
“Sorry,” Marty repeated, sitting back down and putting his Pepsi on the table next to his empty cereal bowl. He reached for the pretzels and opened the bag, shaking a few out into his hand.
Dave shook his head. “No, it’s- well, I guess it is your fault.”
Linda reached over and slapped his arm. “Stop being an asshole.”
“I’m not being an asshole!” Dave exclaimed defensively. “I’m just- I’m being realistic!”
“You’re being an asshole to avoid asking a hard question,” Linda retorted. She sat down again, too, crossing one leg over the other. “Go on. Ask him something weird. It’s like enrichment for him.”
“'He' is right here,” Marty grumbled. They both ignored him.(or: yet ANOTHER marty lets it slip that the movies happened. somewhat of a sequel to my OTHER fic like this, where linda finds out. not necessary to understand, but there are some little continuity things from there you might miss if you dont read that first!)

In which Apollo should absolutely be in the hospital, Athena should absolutely be given paid leave, and both of them should absolutely be in real therapy with an unrelated professional. But that's pretty normal for members of the Wright Anything Agency, I guess, so life goes on as usual. As usual, meaning full of emotional repression, repeated physical injury, and relationship issues staying unresolved until they can't be ignored anymore.
(or: apollo passes out while trying to work on paperwork because he stood up too fast, and athena decides to seize the chance to wrangle him into a mood matrix therapy session. a few secrets are revealed, a nice heart-to-heart conversation is had, a rib or two is broken, and bonding ensues!)

the two with journeys trio in sun & moon is from my sister and i's fun little au we put too much thought into where we put goh & chloe in alola because we like them and we like sun & moon. and we also made ash a magical girl and goh spiderman and we killed ash. hes okay though
only other au i have here so far is pokeless au, where we just. took all the pokemon away. and sent their asses off to get public education in The Real World. and added a dash of existential dread- oh shit thats not a dash thats the whole fucking container. thats like five pounds of existential dread. fuck- Words:

basically: what if i put goh and chloe in pokemon the series: sun & moon. and what if ash was a magical girl. and goh was the pokemon equivalent of spider-man. and chloe is goh's tech support (and impulse control but lets be real she doesnt have much impulse control either). and ive watched 3 spider-man movies ever and never watched a magical girl anime. and we also let goh get posessed and we killed ash. and of course theres satogou because why wouldn't there be

“Shit!” Techno barks out, and the kid cackles, rolling out from under him, hopping to his feet. He makes to jump the fence. “That was a dirty move!”
“I don’t fight clean,” The kid tells him, cheeky. “Clean fighters lose, yeah? I think I’ll be headed out now.”
“At least give me the hint,” Techno groans, rolling over into his stomach to glare the kid down.
“Hmm,” The kid puts a finger to his chin, mockingly. Techno doesn’t appreciate it, but he’s a little incapacitated right now. “Starts with a T. See you, Technoblade!”
“Wait-” Techno starts, but the kid doesn’t hesitate as he launches himself over the fence and into who-knows-where. Techno sighs, long, as the pain finally subsides, and he stands, brushing the dirt and dust off his front.
Techno finds himself smiling. It’s been a while since someone got the jump on him. He still doesn’t know what about that kid, exactly, set him off the way it did, but he’ll be damned if he doesn’t figure it out.
