Mina stumbles and lands, almost like out of thin air, onto solid ground. The momentum pushes her forward, out of balance, but she catches herself before running into anything and stops right on the spot.
"Did I do it?" she is leaning on her knees, trying to catch her breath. A quick look around is enough to confirm but she only claims success when she spots Damian's face. "Yes!"

To change, Ayaka Iwamoto first had to break.
Before defeating any millenary demon and before breaking any cycle of pain, before setting demons and humans free from their chains and bringing happiness, Ayaka first has to break the stone and the snow around her that has taken years to build and that has only brought her misery.
For Spring to come, Winter must leave.
To prevent Tanjirou Kamado from burning down on his own fire, Ayaka will have to burn down alongside him.
It's a sacrifice she's willing to make. Because Ayaka hates kind people and because all kind people are the same. And she won't allow Tanjirou to go down the path all kind people choose.
