“I think you’re forgetting we’re supposed to be allies,” Agatha shoots back, crossing her arms. “You kill me, the group turns on you.”
Rio leans in, her breath warm against Agatha’s ear as her voice drops to a whisper. “I may not be able to kill you yet, Agatha,” she murmurs, “but I can make you wish you were dead.”
Agatha lets out a short laugh, brushing her off with a flick of her hand. “Please,” she says, tilting her chin up, “I’d like to see you try.”
Rio pulls back just enough to meet her gaze, her smirk widening. “Baby, is that a challenge?”
