“Taehyung?”
Taehyung wakes up with a start. Jimin has been shaking him; they’re still in the movie theatre. He must have fallen asleep, must have dreamed all of it. He discreetly checks to make sure he doesn’t have an embarrassing boner at best, that he didn’t come in his pants at worst. But he’s fine, nothing to be worried about.
Except the fact that his heart is sinking, maybe breaking, because he thought he finally found what he so desperately needs, but it was all a lie. They don’t want him.
Jungkook is asleep next to Jimin, so this must be the most boring movie that’s ever come out, or they're all just really tired. Jimin is shaking Jungkook awake now.
“Uh, sorry,” Taehyung apologizes in a whisper, the movie still playing. No one else in the theatre seems to have fallen asleep, so he’s convinced he and Jungkook must be sleep deprived. Taehyung excuses himself and sneaks out to the bathroom to splash some cold water on his face, wanting to clear his head.
